  I also purchased a bag of Shelled Walnuts back in December. Expiration date is 2/27/18. I opened them to make my Christmas cookies and what a HORRIBLE SMELL! The best way to describe it is a plastic/woody/mulch smell. They were obviously stale. I tried one…What was I thinking! I emailed the company several times and even called and left a voicemail message (I believe her name was Gina) and I have not received a reply to any of my inquiries. Disgusting product and even more of a disgusting “Customer Service”. They obviously do not stand by their statement that Customer Service is their main goal. I agree the BBB should be notified as should the Board of Health / FDA. How are they allowed to sell products that havd obviously gone bad before expiration date?!
